Hearing is ESSENTIAL. We’re proud to be open and offering full services at this time following all CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and staff.
Clinic Appointments: We are open for in-office visits.
We continue to require an appointment to enter the clinic, so we request that you call ahead to let us know what you need. We will always do our best to find a convenient spot for you in our schedule.
When you come to the clinic for a scheduled appointment, here is what to expect:
- Our waiting area is now available; no need to wait in your car unless that is your preference.
- All our providers and staff are fully vaccinated, and we will wear masks at the request of a patient.
- Our office spaces are rigorously cleaned for your safety and ours.
Curbside Service: Curbside service is still available.
Simply call and let us know what you need and we’ll give you a time stop by.
Our team will come out to you and take your hearing aids to be cleaned and checked, returning them to you while you wait in your vehicle.
Many patients pick up batteries and other supplies this way.
Family members are welcome to bring hearing aids inside to us or pick up supplies in this same way.
We appreciate your cooperation with our current safety procedures. No matter what your situation is right now, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’ll figure out a way to make sure you’re hearing your best, because we’re all in this together. Stay healthy and safe!
If you have not yet been vaccinated, we strongly recommend taking that step. Data shows a small correlation between infection with coronavirus and subsequent hearing loss, tinnitus, or balance problems. More high-quality studies are needed. What is well established is that some of the medications used to treat the coronavirus are ototoxic, meaning they carry a high risk of hearing loss, ringing in the ears, vertigo, and dizziness as side effects.
Vaccinations are available at all Hy-Vee Pharmacy locations with no appointment necessary. You can also find vaccines with the help of VaccineFinder.
